IT Information Systems Manager

Full-Time On Site: Monday-Friday, THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION

The Information Systems (IS) Manager will provide operational and technical management of Infrastructure and Systems. This role requires a very technical, hands-on manager who can lead by example and actively participate in the technical aspects of the job. The IS Manager will provide leadership to staff, establishing and ensuring adherence to standards of system management, maintenance, and support. They will lead efforts to provide continuous availability of infrastructure systems and SaaS applications such as MS Office 365 (including SharePoint, Intune, and Defender), Azure AD, Permissions, Solarwinds, Smartsheet, etc., and manage Nutanix and VMware systems. The IS Manager will coordinate, plan, and supervise the performance of staff and resources to ensure the completion of assigned duties.

Qualifications (Must Have):

  • Proficiency with VMWare
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, SharePoint Online, Endpoint Manager (Intune) and Office 365 Administrator.
  • Competency with Active Directory (On-Prem)
  • Experience working with an MDM solution (Apple Business Manager, Google Play, Microsoft Intune or equivalent)
  • 3+ years of Management experience, with current hands on experience as well

Other Desirable Experience:

  • IT Project Management; including managing project budgets, resource plans and risk mitigation strategies
  • Non-Windows based Operating Systems such as Linux, CentOS, MacOS, iOS, Android OS
  • Role-Based Access Control and Red Forest Active Directory
  • Disaster Recovery and Backup Management
  • HIPPA compliance standards
  • Information Security best practices
  • SDLC and ITIL process methodologies

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

  • Influence change/enhancements to business processes, IT policies, and system infrastructure.
  • Manages projects, people, customer expectations, and business priorities to achieve customer (employee and resident) satisfaction.
  • Oversees and manages the infrastructure, systems, and staff.
  • Supports and leads IT functions through formal training, diverse assignments, and coaching, mentoring, and other development techniques.
  • Leads duties related to evaluation and selection of new systems, running status meetings, keeping track of issues.
  • Partners with business and IT team members to ensure that project delivery aligns with business strategic objectives and priorities.
  • Coordinates and facilitates consultation with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new system implementations. Coordinates with PMO to manage complex projects.
  • Monitors performance of project delivery to ensure alignment to the approved business case, design, and committed timeline.
  • Assist both directly and indirectly with the creation of reports and tools for the organization.
  • Works with security team and vendors.
  • Drives adoption of technology and tools across the organization.
