The Nursing Home Administrator at Ridgeview Health Center is responsible for assisting the Executive Director in the overall administration of The Glen at Scripps Ranch community, with specific responsibility for the Health Center. They also handle special projects for the Owners and the Executive Director. In the Executive Director's absence, the Administrator assumes responsibility for all Community operations.
The Health Center Administrator is responsible for the overall operation of the health center to include both skilled nursing and assisted living levels of care. They are responsible for working alongside and leading others in the coordination of care and services, develops operational guidelines and policies, establishes systems to monitor for regulatory compliance, develops and executes the health center’s marketing plan, leads staff to create strong employee engagement and environment for talent development.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES A CALIFORNIA NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR'S LICENSE.

The Administrator has the authority to operate the health center on a daily basis within the policies and budgetary guidelines established. Decisions such as changing operating policies, hiring consultants, increasing resident services fees, increasing wages outside of guidelines or changing marketing strategies requires consultation with Ownership.
Qualifications:
- The technical knowledge required is best obtained through a BS or MS degree in business, health care, hotel/restaurant management, or closely related area.
- A minimum of two to three years of management experience in health care or life care community environment is required.
- An active Nursing Home Administrator license in California - THIS IS A REQUIREMENT.
- RCFE License required or ability to get licensed within 6 months
- Some background in financial management, including budget preparation, cash flow management, and analysis of financial reports.
- A thorough understanding of federal and state laws related to the operation of the Community.
- Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with a variety of publics, including residents, Owners, community groups, government agencies, etc.
Compensation for this role is base salary of approximately $185,000-190,000 annually plus a 50% bonus potential. Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, PTO, Flex holidays and more!
